An Exchange API Account allows you to create a direct connection to your exchange that automatically imports your transactions. It will sync with the exchange periodically ensuring that your transactions are automatically kept up to date.

Most Exchange API Accounts require you to create read-only API keys within your account on the given exchange. You then input these into Recap and a direct connection is created.

You can also connect to your Exchange API accounts using our 0auth method. Simply click the ‘Sign in with exchange’ button when prompted within Recap and you will be redirected to sign into your exchange account. Authorise Recap to access your data with another click and the direct connection between Recap and your exchange will be created.
